Who is the controller of data?

The Controller of personal data provided by you when registering for participation in a networking project of the MICE sector –  KrakówNetwork (hereinafter referred to as the ”Project”) as well as information obtained using cookie files and analytical tools for the website of the Project is Krakow Festival Office with its registered office at ul. Wygrana 2, 30-311 Krakow, a municipal institution of culture entered into the register of cultural institutions kept by the Municipality of Krakow under number 19.

What information do we collect?

  • Personal data necessary for participation in the Project.
  • Information obtained using cookie files for persons visiting the website of the Project.


Rules of processing personal data.

  1. Personal data which a Project Participant is obliged to provide when registering for participation in the Project, as well as further information on the activity of a Project Participant will be processed by the Controller in order to implement, moderate and operate the Project i.e. in particular to contact the Participants and undertake actions related to current activities in the Project. The granted consent will form the basis for the processing of personal data (Article 6 (1) (a) of the GDPR).
  2. The provision of data is voluntary, however it is necessary for participation in the Project.
  3. In the remaining scope, the data of Project Participants will be processed only for the purposes of legitimate interests of the Controller i.e. to possibly pursue and defend against claims (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR) and for archiving purposes, if the applicable regulations require the archiving of your registration data in the Project (Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR).
  4. Information collected using the technology of cookie files i.e. inter alia IP No. of your computer, online identifiers, information on your browser or operating system, your activity on our website and preferences, are processed by the Controller for the purposes of the correct display of our website and the optimization of its functioning. In addition, information collected using cookie files is used by the Controller also for website analytical/statistical purposes. If information recorded using cookie files can, in the light of the applicable law, be classified as personal data, then the basis for its processing will be a legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).
  5. Your personal data processed for the purposes of implementation of the Project will be processed by the Controller for the period necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected (i.e. for the duration of the Project) or until the consent to the processing of this data is withdrawn (by which it will also be understood resignation from participation in the Project). Data processed for the purposes of securing possible claims will be processed until the expiry of the limitation period for possible claims related to the participation in the project. Where there is a legal requirement to archive your personal data, the Office will process your data for the period required by relevant provisions establishing that obligation.
  6. Information collected using the technology of cookie files will be processed for the period resulting for the technical specification of individual cookie files, or until you change the settings of your web browser.
  7. Personal data of the User and/or information about Users other personal data may be made available by the Controller to: Entities processing data on behalf of the Controller on the basis of concluded entrustment agreements – providers of IT services such as hosting and providers of information systems, as well as (only as to information obtained  using the technology of cookie files) providers of analytical solutions for websites using the technology of cookie files such as Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) – provider of the Google Analytics solution. Other entities which will act as controllers of these data deciding on the manner and purposes of processing – only when the obligation of such sharing of data results from the provisions of law.
  8. At the same time, the Controller informs that the User has:
    1. The right to access their personal data and to obtain information inter alia on the categories of data and purposes of their processing, as well as to obtain a copy of the data (Article 15 of the GDPR);
    2. The right to have incorrect data rectified and missing data completed (Article 16 of the GDPR);
    3. The right to withdraw the granted consent to the processing of personal data provided when registering for participation in the Project which can be done by the User using contact data indicated above. The withdrawal of consent to the use of cookie files is possible through the settings of the website or your web browser. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of previous personal data processing by the Controller.
    4. The right to be forgotten that is to erase data processed unreasonably and unlawfully (Article 17 of the GDPR);
    5. The right to restrict the processing, that is suspension of operations on data or non-erasure of the data, according to the submitted application (Article 18 of the GDPR);
    6. The right to request the Controller to notify recipients of data of rectification or erasure of personal data or of restriction of processing (Article 19 of the GDPR);
    7. The right to raise an objection to the processing of data on the basis of a legitimate interest of the Controller;
    8. The right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you consider that the processing of personal data takes place in violation of the GDPR (correspondence address of the President of the Personal Data Protection Office: ul. What are cookie files?

Cookie files are small text files remembered by the browser and stored on your computer, which automatically save technical information related to your visit on our website.

Among the cookie files some of them are a source of functional information necessary for us to correctly display you our website. Apart from them, our website also uses cookie files for analytical/statistical purposes.

For analytical/statistical purposes we use the Google Analytics tool, which operates on the basis of inter alia cookie files of the manufacturers of the above-mentioned tools.

Google Analytics is an online tool to analyze statistics of websites, provided by the Google Ireland Limited company (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). On our website we use cookie files of the Google Analytics tool in order to generate statistics on the functioning of the website. This allows us inter alia to determine how often individual websites are visited, while we use statistical information to optimize and develop our Platform and in order to tailor  our offer to the needs of the users. The Google Ireland Limited company acts on our behalf providing us through the Google Analytics tool with statistical information as our processor on the basis of a concluded data processing entrustment agreement.

On-line meeting platform

The Controller informs that the operator of the platform, as part of which online networking meetings of the participants of Kraków Network are held, is a partner of the Krakow Festival Office – Blue Media sp. z o.o.

The Blue Media company is a provider of electronic services that is independent towards the Office, while voluntary participation in online meetings organized there requires completion of the registration procedure according to the Regulations of the platform. The Controller of personal data provided in the registration (account setting up) process as part of the platform is the above indicated operator of the platform.
